TransForce is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver to support local delivery operations in Charlotte, North Carolina. This long-term flexible position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $25.00 per hour, plus overtime
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, starting at 7:00 a.m.
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Employment type: Long-term flex
- Route: Dedicated local delivery route
- Home daily
Job Details
- Route type: Local day routes
- Stops: Approximately 8-10 stops per route
- Freight: Paper and packaging freight
- Handling: Light-touch, touch, and no-touch routes
- Work setting: On-site
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate assigned equipment on local delivery routes
- Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
- Deliver freight safely and professionally
- Meet the physical demands of the role
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Electronic logging device experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Ability to operate a manual transmission preferred
