TransForce is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver to support local operations in Ashland, VA. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $25 per hour
- Overtime: Overtime after 40 hours
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Employment Type: Temp-to-perm
- Work Arrangement: On-site
- Home Time: Home daily
Job Details

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes.
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
- Perform required no-touch and drop-and-hook activities.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations.
- Meet the physical demands of the role.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid CDL A license.
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
