About the Position
Our client is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for a local touch-freight opportunity in Taylor, Michigan. This role offers consistent Monday-through-Friday work, home-daily opportunities, and a dedicated support team through TransForce.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay rate: $26 per hour
- Estimated weekly pay: $1,040
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, with no weekends
- Start time: Between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
- Hours per week: 40
- Overnight schedule: One overnight stay per week on Mondays
- Hotel accommodations provided for the Monday overnight stay
- $40 per diem for the overnight stay

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate an automatic tractor-trailer on assigned routes.
- Deliver palletized pet food and supplies to veterinary clinics and local pet stores.
- Load, unload, and move freight using hand carts, pallet jacks, and lift gates.
- Maintain safe and professional delivery practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Steel-toed boots preferred.
