Educational Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma (required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
Licenses and Certifications Needed
All necessary certifications must be obtained upon hiring unless specified otherwise:
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - American Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- RN - Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - Multi-state Compact RN
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support or ARC-PALS - American Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support or PALS-I - PALS - Instructor or PALS-P - PALS-Provisional (to be completed within 180 days)
- TNCC - Trauma Nurse Core Course or TNCC-P - Trauma Nurse Core Course - Provisional (to be completed within 18 months)
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - American Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (to be completed within 180 days)
