Position Summary
We're hiring an Electrician with some field experience who is comfortable working across both residential and commercial settings - from service calls and panel upgrades in someone's home to wiring and troubleshooting on commercial job sites. You'll work alongside our lead electricians and ownership, with real opportunities to grow your skills, take on more responsibility, and increase your earning potential over time.
What You'll Do
◆ Perform electrical installations, repairs, and diagnostics for residential and light commercial customers
◆ Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot panels, circuits, outlets, lighting systems, and EV charging stations
◆ Read blueprints and specifications for new construction and remodel projects
◆ Diagnose electrical issues efficiently and explain findings clearly to customers and site supervisors
◆ Ensure all work meets National Electrical Code (NEC) and local jurisdiction requirements
◆ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site and company vehicle
◆ Communicate proactively with the office and customers on job status, scheduling, and follow-up needs
◆ Collaborate with other trades on commercial projects as needed

What We're Looking For
◆ Some hands-on electrical experience - apprenticeship-level to journeyman-level experience welcome
◆ Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safe electrical practices
◆ Comfortable working independently on service calls and as part of a crew on larger commercial jobs
◆ Valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record (required to operate a company fleet vehicle)
◆ Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
◆ Own set of basic hand tools (or ability to acquire within a short window of hire)
◆ Strong communication skills - you'll often be the face of Blue State Electric in someone's home or business
◆ Ability to work in Arizona outdoor conditions, including summer heat, and to lift, climb, and work in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders as needed
Nice to Have (Not Required)
◆ Completion of a registered electrical apprenticeship program
◆ Experience with EV charger installation
◆ Prior experience on both residential and commercial job types
◆ OSHA 10/30 certification
