Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing practice on full time basis. Our clinic provides comprehensive primary care and same-day urgent care services to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate is confident managing both chronic and acute medical conditions, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
Duties
● Provide comprehensive primary care services, including wellness visits, annual physicals, preventive screenings, and chronic disease management.
● Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries in an urgent care setting.
● Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other studies.
● Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
● Perform common in-office procedures within the scope of practice.
● Educate patients on disease prevention, medication management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
● Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently using the electronic medical record (EMR).
● Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
● Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and organizational policies and clinical guidelines.
Requirements
● Master’s or Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
● Current, unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner license.
● National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
● Current BLS certification.
● At least one year of experience in primary care, urgent care, family medicine, or internal medicine is preferred.
● Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to outstanding patient care.
Schedule
● Full-time 40 hours per week.
● Clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
● Additional shifts are available based on practice needs and provider availability.
● Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and occasional weekends is preferred.
