Journeyman Service Electrician
$28-$36/hr DOE
We are currently hiring experienced Journeyman Service Electricians with 5+ years of experience performing electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work in commercial and industrial environments. Job Duties
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Perform electrical service calls for commercial clients
- Inspect electrical systems and identify code violations or safety concerns
- Repair and replace breakers, panels, receptacles, switches, lighting systems, transformers, and other electrical components
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Test electrical systems using meters and diagnostic equipment
- Communicate findings and recommend solutions to customers and project managers
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with current NEC codes and safety standards
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
Journeyman Service Electrician Requirements
- 5+ years of recent electrical service experience in commercial and/or industrial environments
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience servicing electrical panels, lighting systems, motors, controls, and distribution equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
- Knowledge of current NEC codes and safety regulations
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license
- Must provide own hand tools and PPE (safety gear)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
