Skillforce is hiring experienced Steel Erectors / Ironworkers for ongoing commercial construction work in the Green Bay / De Pere, WI area.
We are looking for dependable candidates with hands-on experience erecting structural steel or pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB). This is a full-time opportunity with weekly pay.
Pay: $30–$35/hr, based on experience
Location: Green Bay / De Pere, WI
Schedule: Full-time, ongoing work
Responsibilities:
- Erect and install structural steel, beams, and columns
- Perform bolt-ups, alignment, and connections
- Install girts, purlins, wall panels, roofing, insulation, and trim
- Read blueprints, shop drawings, and measurements
- Assist with rigging and setting structural components
- Operate aerial lifts, forklifts, hoists, and construction equipment
- Work safely at heights and outdoors
- Follow OSHA and jobsite safety requirements
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of steel erection, ironworker, structural steel, or metal building experience preferred
- Experience with PEMB / pre-engineered metal buildings is a plus
- Comfortable working at heights
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Blueprint reading experience preferred
- Aerial lift experience/certification preferred
- Reliable transportation
