Grounded Solutions is looking for a talented, personable, and driven Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team!

This is a direct-hire, 1st shift position, Monday–Friday, with some overtime, occasional weekend work, and regular travel.
Occasional Travel Requirement
This position requires the ability and willingness to occasionally travel for out-of-town and out-of-state commercial projects as needed.
Travel may include overnight stays and extended periods away from the Indianapolis area.

What You'll Do
- Test, troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Diagnose electrical issues and determine appropriate solutions
- Work on commercial electrical projects both locally and while traveling
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Evaluate customer requests and provide accurate, thorough quotes
- Identify materials and quantities needed for projects
- Document work using tablet-based technology and company software
- Follow established company processes and procedures
- Perform all work with safety as a top priority
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of Journeyman-level experience
- Commercial electrical experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Extensive knowledge of the NEC
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using tablets and learning new software technologies
- Ability to lift and move moderately heavy objects
- Ability to accurately identify materials and quantities needed for projects
- Ability to evaluate client requests and develop accurate quotes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight and out-of-state travel
