Location: Richmond, VA
Pay: Starting at $21/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Qualified Staffing is hiring experienced MIG Welders for a growing manufacturing and fabrication company in Richmond, VA. This position is responsible for fabricating, fitting, and welding steel components while ensuring quality and accuracy.
What You’ll Do
- Perform MIG welding on fabricated steel frames, assemblies, and metal components
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Measure, mark, fit, and align materials according to specifications
- Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
- Operate welding equipment, cutting torches, grinders, and fabrication tools
- Inspect completed welds and assemblies for quality and accuracy
- Prepare and finish welded components through grinding and sanding
- Utilize measuring tools to verify dimensions and weld quality
- Operate pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and hoists as needed
- Move, organize, and store materials throughout the production area
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Support production goals and team operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Previous MIG welding experience required
- TIG welding experience is a plus
- Fabrication or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- High school diploma or GED preferred
