CMM Operator/Inspector – Verify that products are meeting dimensional and quality requirements of the customer. Run CMM programs and possibly create Programs. Assist as required. This can include manual or automated programs.
Tasks:
- Load part on machine
- Touch off on part to calibrate program
- Monitor machine while working
- Follow work instructions
- Follow quality system
- Verify quality of product
- Wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs and dust mask)
- Complete/fill in reports
- Complete any task presented by management
- Maintain and clean machinery, equipment and work area
Skills:
- Communication
- Use of variety of tools and gauges
- Maintaining confidentiality
- Read and understand CMM Reports
- Blue print and operation sheet reading
