LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established Jacksonville law firm to identify an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support a busy real estate practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial transactions, leasing matters, acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions for a diverse client base. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing complex real estate matters with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities- Assist attorneys with all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and development matters.
- Draft, review, and revise commercial real estate documents, including purchase agreements, closing documents, leases, amendments, estoppels, and related agreements.
- Manage commercial leasing matters from inception through execution, including lease abstracts, amendments, assignments, renewals, and tenant correspondence.
- Coordinate and facilitate commercial real estate closings, including preparation of closing checklists and transaction documents.
- Conduct title and survey reviews and assist with the resolution of title objections and due diligence issues.
- Order and review title commitments, zoning reports, entity documents, and other transactional due diligence materials.
- Prepare closing binders and maintain organized electronic and physical transaction files.
- Communicate directly with clients, lenders, title companies, surveyors, and opposing counsel throughout the transaction process.
- Track critical transaction deadlines and ensure all closing requirements are satisfied in a timely manner.
- Support attorneys with ongoing portfolio management and real estate asset matters.
Qualifications- Minimum of 3 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience within a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Commercial leasing experience is required.
- Experience handling lease negotiations, amendments, estoppels, assignments, renewals, and related leasing documentation.
- Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and due diligence processes.
- Experience reviewing title commitments, surveys, and other real estate-related documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Paralegal certificate or degree preferred but not required based on relevant experience.
