The Forklift Operator plays a vital role in efficiently managing palletized goods and bulk materials within the warehouse. Operating under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the operator is responsible for safely and accurately moving inventory during an 8-hour shift in an indoor environment, ensuring organized storage and timely handling of materials to support warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift to move palletized and bulk materials safely
- Load and unload materials onto/from trucks and storage areas
- Handle inventory with care to maintain accuracy and prevent damage
- Organize warehouse layout to optimize space and accessibility
- Follow safety procedures to maintain a secure working environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in material handling
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Forklift Operator Certification
