Pay Rate: $20.50 – $23.50/hour (determined by experience)
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Role Overview:
BEPC is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to support our client’s medical device manufacturing operations in Saint Paul, MN. This position is responsible for the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and production of high-quality electronic medical device hardware and systems within a controlled manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electronic assembly and testing, including the use of schematics, oscilloscopes, multimeters, automated test equipment, and other diagnostic tools. This role requires strong attention to detail, troubleshooting ability, and a commitment to maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical and electromechanical assembly of subassemblies and finished medical devices.
- Test electronic components and assemblies using automated test equipment.
- Use schematics, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to test and troubleshoot electronic equipment.
- Adjust, repair, and maintain electronic equipment as required.
- Handle and maneuver small electronic components and parts.
- Read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
- Maintain accurate Device History Records (DHR) and quality documentation.
- Ensure components and products remain properly traceable throughout production.
- Utilize electronic data collection systems and applicable computer software.
- Follow established safety procedures and utilize appropriate safety equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
- Prioritize assignments based on production requirements and deadlines.
- Support Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Follow applicable FDA regulations, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other levels of the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- 0–2 years of electronic assembly and testing experience; medical device industry experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience building and/or testing electronic assemblies.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electronic equipment and assemblies.
- Ability to read and utilize electronic schematics.
- Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, automated test equipment, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ability to perform detailed assembly involving small components and parts.
- Experience within GMP, ISO, and FDA-controlled environments preferred.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
- Ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Ability to work scheduled overtime as required is preferred.
