Position Overview
XL Pro Staffing and Consulting is seeking dependable Assembly Associates to join a manufacturing team in Plano, TX. This position is responsible for assembling components and finished products while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components and finished products by following work instructions, blueprints, and production standards.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect parts during the assembly process to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Maintain production goals while following all safety and quality procedures.
- Report defective materials, equipment issues, or production concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by following 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment as needed.
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to the required weight for the position.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
