We are looking for an experienced and dependable Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding and have the ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
The right candidate should take pride in producing clean, strong, and accurate welds while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various materials and components
- Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols
- Set up and operate welding equipment properly
- Measure, cut, fit, and position materials before welding
- Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
- Perform grinding, cleaning, and finishing of welded components as needed
- Follow welding specifications, dimensions, and tolerances
- Maintain welding equipment and a clean, organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and proper welding safety practices
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Required Qualifications
- Previous professional welding experience
- MIG welding experience required
- TIG welding experience required
- Stick welding experience required
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to read and interpret welding symbols
- Strong understanding of welding techniques and equipment
- Ability to accurately measure and fit materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with structural, industrial, or manufacturing welding
- Experience working with different metals and material thicknesses
- Welding certification is a plus
- Fabrication experience is a plus
