Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Combo Pipe Welder to join a fast-paced industrial fabrication environment. This position will be responsible for performing high-quality pipe welding on carbon and stainless steel materials while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform pipe welding on carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld procedures, and fabrication drawings.
- Complete welds according to company and customer specifications.
- Prepare pipe and materials for welding, including cutting, fitting, and grinding.
- Inspect completed welds for quality and structural integrity.
- Safely and efficiently operate welding equipment and tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and welding standards.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a 2" Schedule 80 carbon steel weld test.
- Previous experience with stainless steel pipe welding is required.
- TIG and/or Stick welding experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to work in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
