Job Description
A Sales, Service, and Repair Shop has an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable/Billing/Office Clerk to join their team. Work hours are first shift from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Duties:
- Assist in Customer Service, answer phones, and some overhead paging
- Work on packing slips, freight bills, bills of lading, stock orders vs. client orders, and match invoices to purchase orders
- Basic accounting and receivable principals
- Work with older accounting system - Armor Accounts Receivable - when training make sure you take notes and refer back to them as needed
- Maintain, update, and stamp everything in master book log
- Perform general office and filing as needed
Qualifications:
- Must have previously worked in Accounts Receivable within a manufacturing environment
- Must understand basic accounting principals
- Must be familiar with packing slips, freight bills, and bills of lading
- Must have the ability to accurately match invoices to purchase orders
- Must be computer literate, able to retain knowledge and take notes on learning new system, and have fast and accurate data entry skills
- Must have excellent communication, organizational, and telephone skills while paying a high attention to detail
- Must be dependable, mature, intelligent, and have common sense
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
