Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious sit-down propane Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations. The employee will operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, move, and organize general merchandise.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Move furniture and supplies to designated warehouse locations.
- Stack, organize, and retrieve merchandise safely.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing products for visible damage.
- Assist with inventory counts and verify product quantities.
- Complete daily forklift safety inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow warehouse procedures and all applicable safety regulations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift or warehouse experience required
- Forklift certification required, employer-provided evaluation or training may be required.
- Ability to work a 7:00 AM-7:00 PM shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse work for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Must follow all safety instructions and warehouse policies.
