Lead Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the workplace is safe and healthy for its employees. As well as handling job site escalations in a professional, diligent manner on critical job issues.
Responsibilities:
Ensures that employees follow safety regulations through site walks
Will conduct on-site training on safety procedures as well as tool certification
Ensures that HACI safety programs are working effectively and efficiently
Ensures that HACI is compliant with OSHA standards
Investigating incidents and report on safety issues
Conduct HACI new hire safety training
Attending job specific meetings and learning sessions to represent HACI
Represent HACI in incident RCA meetings, OSHA inspections/investigations, and any GC escalated
issues
Job requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Will require the ability to walk and climb steps for an extended periods of time in summer heat
5+ years construction experience Safety experience
Valid driver's license with clear driving record
Basic MS Office experience
Bilingual a plus
OSHA 30/hr
OSHA 510/500 a plus
Must possess excellent communication skills
Experience leading incident RCA meetings
