About the Position
We are seeking an experienced welder / mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and repairing semi-trailers axles to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Responsibilities
- Mobile repair of semi truck and trailer axles
- Diagnose and repair brake and spindle issues.
- Ability to follow and execute repair procedures to high quality standards
- Weld and fabricate trailer components as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Maintain service truck to company standards
Qualifications
- Experience repairing and maintaining semi-trailers.
- Ability to trouble shoot problems
- Ability to diagnose mechanical issues
- Welding and torch experience required
- Valid driver's license; and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
