We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, cleaning, and repair of residential swimming pools. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge and experience with pool maintenance and equipment, ensuring that our clients enjoy clean and safe swimming environments. General Accountabilities
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular pool cleaning and maintenance services.
- Perform routine inspections of pool equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Identify pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators, that are in need of repair.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed on each pool, including chemical balances and services performed.
- Communicate with clients regarding their pool maintenance needs and provide recommendations for improvements or repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with chemicals and equipment in various weather conditions.
Experience
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing is preferred.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of service quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Physical and Other Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a high degree of stamina for physical labor, with the ability to work in high degrees of heat and adverse weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively and often.
- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, stretch and climb repetitively and often.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
- Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Must have the ability to work around chlorine without an allergic reaction.
