Staffing Inc. is partnered with a local innovative packaging company in Holland, MI who is actively looking to hire a qualified Specialty Box Maker Operator. This company provides a variety of packaging solutions for the wine and spirit industry, beauty and personal care industry, e-commerce, food, electronic, automotive and manufacturing sectors. The candidate will take packing materials from the machine, glue boxes, stack products, and more.
Job Summary
Lead production person for new box making machine This role will be learning the operational details of this machine, setting up new production runs, troubleshooting machine performance, cleaning ink rollers at end of shift, and working closely with schedulers and the Manufacturing Manager for daily production schedules, JIT manufacturing, and inventory.

Key Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the team, be the lead person for all things production and set up for Solarco Box Maker
- Respond to internal requests for production updates, maintenance.
- Via observation, be able troubleshoot machine performance and quality.
- Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with key associates around scheduling, production requirements, and recommendations for process improvements.
- On a pre- and post-shipment basis, review quality of inbound sheet materials and finished goods produced by machine
- Provide ongoing oversight of work area, preparation for production and daily production rates/goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma.
- Experience: 1–3 years of machine operations, ideally in a corrugated sheet plant, packaging plant, or machine/press experience.
- Skills: Strong machine operation experience, technical trouble shooting skills, ability to meet production demands. Proactive, collaborative mindset with ability and willingness to make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Work Environment
- Requires ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have flexibility on 1st and/or 2nd shift.
