A logistics company is seeking an individual to operate a sit-down propane forklift. You will work Monday through Friday form 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Job Duties:
- Accurately receive inbound products including inspecting for damages, matching material to the manifest, and read picking tickets
- Operate forklift or appropriate material handling equipment to stack and retrieve supplies and materials from staging/storage areas
- Move product from staging or storage to loading and unloading trailers and containers and safely package products for shipping
- Load trucks efficiently, inspect trailers, and verify correct material to load and the proper securement method to be used
- Greet and interact with drivers in a professional manner and attend all safely meetings
- Properly document inventory moves and maintains a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- Must have 1 to 3 years warehouse experience
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain OSHA Certification as a forklift driver
- Must have basic reading and math skills
- Must have good communication and basic computer skills, as well as, utilizing RF Scanners
- Must be able to pay a high attention to detail, be safety conscious, dependable, handle everyday work pressures, and meet deadlines
