Looking for a mechanical assembler for a nationwide mechatronic company that is GROWING!!
Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
$18/hr.
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to perform mechanical and electromechanical assembly of components and subassemblies. This role requires soldering skills, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow instructions accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components, subassemblies, and final units following work instructions and schematics.
- Solder electrical components, wires, and connectors to company standards.
- Assemble precision rare earth magnetic components as required.
- Inspect assemblies for accuracy, alignment, and quality.
- Test assemblies for proper mechanical and electrical functionality.
- Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
- Complete documentation, production logs, and quality checklists.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-1 years of assembly, manufacturing, or soldering experience.
- Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity.
- Ability to read assembly drawings and instructions.
Preferred:
- Experience in electronics, medical devices, aerospace, or precision assembly.
- Familiarity with ESD handling and lean manufacturing practices.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25–40 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination for soldering and assembly tasks.
