Our team is built on collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. We are seeking a professional commercial construction superintendent who can help us achieve our goals.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber to perform service, repairs, and remodeling work across our multifamily residential and light commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of plumbing experience and be capable of independently diagnosing problems, completing repairs and installations, and handling day-to-day plumbing service calls. A company van and equipment will be provided.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform plumbing service, repairs, installations, and remodeling work across multifamily residential and light commercial properties.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, water pressure problems, damaged piping, and fixture failures.
- Install, repair, and replace water supply lines, drain/waste/vent piping, fixtures, valves, water heaters, and other plumbing systems.
- Independently evaluate service calls and determine the appropriate repair or solution.
- Perform plumbing work associated with apartment renovations, unit turnovers, and property improvements.
- Read and interpret plumbing plans, specifications, and blueprints when required.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes, safety requirements, and company quality standards.
- Identify required materials and coordinate with management to ensure necessary parts and supplies are available.
- Maintain company-provided van, equipment, and materials in clean and organized condition.
- Communicate clearly with property managers, supervisors, tenants, and other trades regarding plumbing issues and completed work.
- Document completed work, materials used, and any additional repairs or maintenance needed.
- Respond to urgent plumbing issues and occasional emergency service calls as required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years of professional plumbing experience, preferably in multifamily residential and light commercial properties.
- Must live within a 20-minute drive of our Northeast San Fernando Valley office and be able to reliably commute to work.
- Journey-level plumbing experience with the ability to independently diagnose, repair, install, and troubleshoot plumbing systems.
- Strong experience with plumbing service, repairs, maintenance, and remodeling work.
- Experience working with water supply, drain/waste/vent systems, sewer lines, gas piping, fixtures, valves, and water heaters.
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of applicable plumbing codes, safety requirements, and proper installation practices.
- Los Angeles Journey-Level Plumber Certificate of Qualification preferred.
- California C-36 Plumbing Contractor License is a plus, but not required.
- Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must provide own standard plumbing hand tools; company will provide a work van and larger equipment.
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot problems, and complete service calls with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
