Tennessee Valley Metals is looking for a skilled and dependable Aluminum Welder to join our growing fabrication team. We specialize in the fabrication of custom aluminum canopies and architectural structures, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship and can consistently produce clean, strong, and accurate welds.
The ideal candidate will have experience welding aluminum, be comfortable working from drawings and measurements, and have a strong attention to detail. This position is hands-on and fast-paced, with an emphasis on quality, safety, productivity, and doing the job right the first time. Responsibilities
- Weld aluminum canopy parts with precision and quality
- Perform metal fabrication and assemble components
- Interpret and follow blueprints and cut sheets accurately
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure standards are met
- Maintain strict safety compliance using provided safety gear
- Handle materials properly to avoid damage
- Collaborate effectively within small team settings
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of welding experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational training in welding or metalwork
- AWS Certification (e.g., CWI)
- Proficiency in TIG welding
- Proficiency in MIG welding
Compesation
- $18- $25+/ hour depending on experience
