Job Details
We're helping our client, a readymix concrete operation in Central Square, NY, find experienced CDL B drivers for direct hire. This is a home daily position paying $32-$40/hr depending on experience, with routes staying within 1 hour of the plant in the Syracuse area.
Pay
- $32.00 - $40.00/hr depending on experience
- Weekly pay
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, occasional Saturday (once or twice a year)
- Typical start time 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM, may vary based on business demand
- 8-10 hours per day
- Home daily
What You'll Be Doing
- Hauling readymix concrete within 1 hour of the base plant in the Syracuse, NY area
- Occasionally working from other plants within the Syracuse network
- Verifying material is properly mixed with correct slump before leaving the plant
- Operating front discharge and rear discharge readymix concrete trucks
What You Need
- Valid CDL B
- Readymix concrete experience preferred - other experienced truck drivers will be considered and trained
- Manual transmission experience preferred
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
