About the FacilityThis facility is seeking a board-certified pediatric hospitalist to provide night shift coverage following the resignation of a full-time staff member. The hospital maintains established clinical protocols and nursing support to ensure continuity of quality inpatient pediatric care. The credentialing process for this assignment is estimated at 3 to 4 weeks.
About the Facility LocationKansas offers clinicians on assignment access to regional attractions and a variety of year-round activities. The state features opportunities for outdoor recreation, cultural experiences, and community events throughout its diverse regions.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThe pediatric hospitalist will provide night shift inpatient coverage from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM on an on-site basis, managing pediatric inpatients with support from 3 RNs. This assignment covers pediatric patients only; nursery coverage is not included. Documentation must be completed using the EPIC EMR system. Board certification in Pediatrics is required for this locum tenens assignment.
