About the Facility LocationVirginia's Shenandoah Valley spans approximately 200 miles and offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may explore Shenandoah National Park, which features over 500 miles of hiking trails and the 105-mile Skyline Drive, as well as natural landmarks such as Skyline Caverns and Natural Bridge State Park with its 215-foot limestone arch. The valley also provides access to outdoor activities including horseback riding, kayaking, and stargazing, along with museums, historic sites, and family-owned farms, and is situated approximately 75 miles from Washington, DC.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThe Emergency Medicine Physician will provide clinical coverage during day and night shifts at this on-site facility in Virginia. Available shift times include 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM, 4:00 PM - 3:00 AM, and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Clinicians will evaluate and manage emergency department presentations across all age groups at a Level III trauma center while maintaining accurate clinical documentation throughout each assigned shift. No call responsibilities are associated with this assignment.
