About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Neurology MD in Charleston, South Carolina, 29401!
We are seeking an experienced Neurologist for a 7-day assignment in SC, commencing Nov 2, 2026. This critical role entails providing continuous 24-hour coverage, from 8 AM to 8 AM, within the epilepsy monitoring unit. The Physician will be responsible for patient consultations and the expert interpretation of both inpatient and outpatient electroencephalograms.
Responsibilities and Duties
- See patients in the epilepsy monitoring unit, averaging 4-6 patients per week.
- Read and interpret all inpatient EEGs, with an average volume of approximately 8 per day.
- Read and interpret all outpatient EEGs, with an average volume of approximately 10 per day.
Additional Information
- Board certification in Neurology required.
- The schedule involves 24-hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 AM.
- Patient volume includes an average of 4-6 patients per week in the epilepsy monitoring unit.
- Daily volume includes approximately 8 inpatient EEGs and 10 outpatient EEGs for interpretation.
