The Brazer (welding) will primarily focus on welding projects involving pipelines and tubing made from mixed materials. Working under moderate supervision in an indoor workshop environment, this role requires a strong commitment to safety and precision. The ideal candidate will contribute to the fabrication and repair of welded components by following blueprints and ensuring weld integrity through testing.
This is a first shift position
Responsibilities
- Perform welding on pipe, stainless steel and tubing using various techniques
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate weld specifications
- Adhere to safety protocols and compliance standards
- Conduct weld testing to verify quality and strength
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of welding experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding
- Strong blueprint interpretation skills
- Experience in welding inspection and metalworking
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail
