**Seeking LVTs for Veterinary Surgery Team**

If so, VCA SouthPaws Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Center in Fairfax, VA is looking for you!
We currently have an opening for a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) to work in our Surgery department. The schedule would consist of four 10-hour shifts per week or five 8-hour shifts per week, plus up to four to six on-call shifts per month (sign-up basis).
LVTs at SouthPaws can earn $31.00 - $44.00/hour. The overnight and weekend shifts include shift differentials of $5.00 - $7.00/hour that add to your hourly rate and boost your paycheck!
Candidates should be comfortable with monitoring anesthesia, taking radiographs, and venipuncture. As an LVT, you are a crucial part of our team, and we are excited to help you use the knowledge and skills that you’ve invested your time and talent in. You will work alongside and train with our VTS in Anesthesia and Analgesia, our board-certified surgeons, and have the opportunity to cross-train with other departments such as Neurology, Ophthalmology and Internal Medicine. You will work cohesively with a large team to ensure our patients receive the gold standard care they deserve.

Desired Qualifications:
Competitive LVT candidates should have a proven track record of providing exceptional patient care while being a true patient advocate. They should be comfortable with monitoring anesthesia, taking radiographs, venipuncture, effective patient monitoring and administering medications
