About the Role:
Alwon Electric Inc is looking for a motivated Electrician Helper to join our team in Chapel Hill, NC and the surrounding area! This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door of the electrical trade, working alongside experienced electricians on exciting projects. Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Pull wire, run conduit, and help with rough-in and trim-out work
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on job sites
- Follow all safety protocols, NEC codes, and company guidelines
- Support electricians with residential electrical projects
- Learn and apply basic electrical concepts under the guidance of journeymen and master electricians
Requirements:
- No prior electrical experience required, but 2 years of relevant experience in residential electrical work is preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions
- Punctual, dependable, and a team-oriented attitude
