Locums Urology Physician in Massachusetts - Low Volume
Cover a low-volume urology assignment centered on inpatient call, with the ability to participate in multiple short coverage blocks.
Highlights
- Approximately 2-3 patient encounters per shift
- No clinic responsibilities
- Multiple physicians can share coverage
Practice & Cases
- Inpatient rounding, consults, admissions, and necessary procedures
- General urology care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- Advanced urologic procedures preferred based on physician experience
- Clinical support includes three RNs, a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, and surgical techs
Schedule
- In-house call coverage
- Multiple short, multi-day coverage blocks
- Flexible participation based on available blocks
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within five years in Urology
- Active Massachusetts medical license
- ACLS and BLS required
Logistics
- Airfare and lodging provided
- Rental car and mileage provided
