About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD in North Carolina!
Our client in North Carolina seeks an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist Physician for a 120-day assignment beginning Sep 28, 2026. This role encompasses a consistent 3+1 weekly schedule with built-in long weekends, covering both clinic duties from 8 AM to 5 PM and call. Responsibilities include providing full-spectrum obstetrics and general gynecology care, performing various office procedures, and managing deliveries for adult and adolescent patients.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage OBGYN clinic and call responsibilities
- Provide full-spectrum obstetrics and general gynecology services
- Perform office procedures such as LEEP, endometrial biopsy, colposcopy, IUD, and implant insertion
- Care for adult and adolescent OB/GYN patients
Additional Information
- EMR System: Epic
- Daily Patient Volume: 15-20 patients in clinic per day
- Call Schedule: Participate in call shifts, averaging 2-3 deliveries per shift
- Staffing Model: Supported by a robust L&D team and Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM), with strong ancillary resources
