About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Pediatrics MD in Pennsylvania!
Our client is actively seeking a dedicated Pediatric Radiologist for a 60-day assignment starting Nov 2, 2026, in Pennsylvania. This crucial role involves diagnosing, ordering, and interpreting a wide range of imaging studies, alongside coordinating comprehensive patient care. While primarily an outpatient position, there is a possibility of inpatient cases. You will work Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, managing an estimated daily volume of 40-60 studies covering various pediatric conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Diagnose, order, and interpret imaging studies
- Coordinate patient care effectively
- Manage an estimated 45-60 reads per day
- Evaluate and diagnose developmental/congenital disorders such as dysplasia, limb abnormalities, and spina bifida
- Assess and treat trauma/sport injuries including fractures, dislocations, and soft tissue injuries
- Identify and manage infectious/inflammatory conditions like osteomyelitis, septic arthritis, and pyomyositis
- Diagnose and monitor oncology/tumors, including various tumors, lesions, and soft tissue masses
- Address bone abnormalities such as rickets and scurvy
