Position Overview
HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for a locum tenens assignment in New York beginning October 5, 2026.
This opportunity offers a combination of outpatient urology, procedures, inpatient consultations, and post-operative rounding with optional 24-hour call coverage. Full-time coverage is preferred; however, the facility will consider two physicians who can combine their availability to provide the equivalent of full-time coverage, such as approximately two weeks per month each.
The practice is seeking a physician comfortable with bread-and-butter adult urology. The facility currently has a significant staffing need and is interested in physicians who can provide consistent coverage over the six-month assignment.

- Regular Clinical: $425/hour
- 24-Hour Call: $3,000/day
- Callback: $550/hour
- Holiday / OT: $531.25/hour (1.25× regular)

- Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Clinic currently operates primarily Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Optional/flexible call based on physician availability
- 24-hour call: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
- Approximately 20 patients per day
- Adult patients only
- Bread-and-butter Urology
- Outpatient clinic with inpatient consults and post-op rounding as needed
- OR time available
- Level III Trauma Center
- Epic EMR
- New York license must already be in hand
- U.S. Board Certification required
- BLS required
- Travel reimbursement available within facility guidelines
