REQUIRED PROCEDURES - Provide post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular patients.
- Perform emergency surgery on cardiothoracic and vascular patients.
- Take consults and referrals from ED, Cath Lab, and hospital providers.
- Assist in surgery including vein harvesting and retrieval of vascular tissues.
- Coordinate care, round, interpret tests, and order tests.
- Write prescriptions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: Board Certified in Vascular Surgery (required)
- Licenses: Active Ohio License (required)
- DEA: Active DEA Certification (required)
- Certifications: ACLS (required)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery services (required)
- Other Qualifications: Clean background, no malpractice or license issues
Duties & Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients.
- Perform emergency surgery interventions for cardiothoracic and vascular patients.
- Manage consults and referrals from Emergency Department, Cath Lab, and other hospital providers.
- Assist in surgical procedures including vein harvesting and retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass conduits.
- Coordinate patient care, conduct rounding, interpret diagnostic tests, and order necessary tests and medications.
