JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Active Indiana Medical License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency
• Certifications: Flu and COVID vaccination required, or approved medical/religious exemption
• Experience: More than 2 years
• Other Qualifications: IMLC candidates not accepted; must be available for the exact December 14–21 coverage dates
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide inpatient Neurology coverage.
• Evaluate and manage acute and complex neurologic conditions.
• Provide stroke care, including thrombolytic therapy when clinically indicated.
• Perform required Neurology procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Provide call coverage and respond to callbacks as required.
• Complete provider order entry and document patient care in Epic.
• Enter worked hours through the Vemsta digital timesheet platform.
