REQUIRED PROCEDURES

- Removal of Epicardial Wires
- Removal of Intra Aortic Balloon Pump
- Vein and Artery Harvesting
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: NCCPA/Board-certified NP
- Licenses: Active Ohio License
- DEA: Active DEA
- Certifications: ACLS
- Experience: Minimum 1 year surgical experience
- NOTE: Would consider an NP if they are also an RNFA and have open heart surgical experience
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries (elective and emergent)
- Perform hospital rounding on surgical patients
- Provide assistance in clinic
- Take night and weekend call
- Perform procedures such as removal of chest tubes, pulmonary artery catheter, epicardial wires, intra aortic balloon pump, and vein/artery harvesting
