PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE - Hospital Privileges Required: No
- Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
REQUIRED PROCEDURES - Required
- Low & High risk pregnancy
- FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
- OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation (Level I/Screening (viability), Level II/Targeted (anatomic), Amniocentesis)
- Routine & Complicated delivery
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Surgical GYN
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: BC/BE
- Licenses: CA
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Duties & Responsibilities - Provide coverage for unassigned OB patients and unassigned Gyn emergency department patients.
- Perform surgical management including c-sections, spontaneous abortions, and ovarian torsion.
- Assist private physicians with planned and unplanned C-sections.
- Oversee labor of low and high-risk OB patients.
- Collaborate with laborist back-up and perinatology as needed.
