REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Routine Delivery – Vaginal, Low Forceps
Decision-Making for C-Section
Complicated Delivery – C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc.
VBAC’s
Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG)
- Licenses: Active KY license or Universal License (IMLC)
- DEA: Active DEA Certification
- Certifications: BLS
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide on-call coverage for OBGYN services, including EMTALA call.
- Perform routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps deliveries.
- Make decisions and perform C-sections for complicated deliveries.
- Manage VBACs and repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
- Collaborate with midwives who also take call and deliver their own patients.
