JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active TX License, Active DEA
- Certifications: ATLS, ACLS
- Experience: 2 years of emergency medicine experience required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED, managing a high acuity Level IV Trauma Center.
- Work 12-hour shifts to ensure 24-hour physician coverage, collaborating with APP coverage during peak hours.
- Manage an annual patient volume of 21,000, performing emergency procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with specialists including OB/GYN, Cardiology, Orthopedic Surgery, and others for patient consultations and admissions.
- Maintain compliance with ATLS and ACLS protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
