FACILITY INFORMATION

- Equipment Available Onsite: X-ray, EKG
- Support Staff: MA: 1, Office Staff
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Board: BC/BE in FP/IM/Peds/ED (ABMS or American Osteopathic Board only)
- Licenses: Active MO or IMLC
- Certifications: BLS (AHA)
- Experience: Residency trained; BC/BE within 5 yrs of residency; minimum 50 patient encounters in last 12 months
- Other Qualifications: EMR proficiency (Epic preferred), comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints), reading EKGs and X-rays.
- Willing to work 12-hr shifts
- Able to see adults & peds
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide urgent care services to patients of all ages presenting with minor injuries and illnesses.
- Perform minor procedures including suturing, wound care, incision and drainage, splinting, and casting.
- Interpret diagnostic studies such as X-rays and EKGs.
- Work collaboratively with medical assistants, radiology technicians, and other support staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system.
