JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: BC required
- Licenses: Licensed in NC
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, ABLS
- Other Qualifications: Must be vaccinated. Must be credentialed with Medicaid/Medicare and enrolled with PECOS.
Duties & Responsibilities - Provide 24-hour call coverage for general orthopedic surgery, including emergency department coverage.
- Manage consults (0-3 per day) and provide medical management for orthopedic patients.
- Perform ED visits for closed reductions, admissions, and surgical procedures (wrist, ankle, and hip fractures; I&D).
- Stabilize and transfer long bone trauma as necessary.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the MediTech EMR system.
