We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our client's team in Virginia for a 90-day assignment starting Nov 1, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive clinical anesthesiology services, including operative care for a wide range of surgical procedures, primary coverage for surgical intensive care, short stay unit, acute and chronic pain management, diagnostic trans esophageal echocardiography, and emergency airway management, with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide clinical Anesthesiology services in both clinic and surgical settings.
- Ensure timely presence for all scheduled clinics and surgeries.
- Deliver comprehensive clinical anesthesiology for patients undergoing cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, neurosurgical, plastic, ENT, urologic, and ophthalmologic operations.
- Provide services for patients undergoing therapeutic procedures in cardiac catheterization laboratory, electrophysiology, gastrointestinal, and radiological suites.
- Offer primary coverage for patients in the surgical intensive care unit, short stay unit, acute and chronic pain management services.
- Perform diagnostic trans esophageal echocardiography for medical and surgical patients.
- Manage emergency airway procedures.
- Provide consultative services at the patient's bedside or in the clinic setting.
- Administer clinical care for patients undergoing electroconvulsive therapy and diagnostic procedures.
