Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide orthopedic coverage for Emergency Department call on a rotating basis in a Level III Trauma Facility
- Perform surgical consultations and procedures for fractures, sports injuries, general orthopaedic cases, and total joint replacements
- Manage inpatient and outpatient orthopaedic care, including rounding and admissions
- Collaborate with General Surgeons and Orthopaedic PAs to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in 24-hour call coverage, responding to ED consults as needed
