Assembler / Electrical Assembler
Providence, RI
2nd Shift
$18 to $20 depending on experience and shift differential
Position Summary:
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Assemblers to join our production team. The Assembler is responsible for assembling products and components according to specifications, maintaining quality standards, and supporting overall production goals. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while following safety procedures and work instructions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Assembler / Electrical Assembler
- Assemble products, components, or subassemblies according to work instructions and production requirements.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as needed.
- Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Maintain production efficiency while meeting quality expectations.
- Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment or storage.
- Report quality issues, equipment malfunctions, or material shortages to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications of the Assembler / Electrical Assembler
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must have Hayward experience
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time positions available.
- Various shifts may be available, including day, evening, overnight, and weekend schedules.
- Overtime may be required based on business needs.
