About the Position We are seeking a dependable CDL-A Tandem Driver for regional delivery routes originating in Coppell, Texas. This position involves delivering pet food and accessories, with a combination of pallet-jack deliveries and touch freight handled by handcart when required.
Pay & Schedule Details - $28 per hour
- Four-day work week, typically Tuesday through Friday
- Start times typically range from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., depending on the assigned route
- Regional routes with overnight stays required, typically at least two overnights per week
- $40 per diem for each layover
- Fuel and hotel expenses supported through a Comdata card
Job Details

Key Responsibilities - Safely operate a CDL-A tandem vehicle on regional delivery routes
- Deliver pet food and accessories to multiple customer locations
- Load, unload, and move freight using a pallet jack and handcart
- Complete touch freight deliveries when required by customer needs
- Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules, and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and provide professional customer service
Minimum Requirements - Valid CDL-A
- 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Experience with lift gates and pallet jacks
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Ability to handle palletized and touch freight
- Availability for early morning starts and required overnight stays
